 broken leg
When Clemmie also broke her leg in two places, the cast stayed on FIVE months! He regularly checked it, xrayed and waited for the bones to calcify and strenghten. Clemmie walked well on the cast..my vet actually said it could come off at 4 months, but I asked for it to be left another month...the first check at 1 month showed very little healing, at 2 months is was only half healed...she did have surgery and a pin put in. Good Luck
PS...the vet bill for 5 months and surgery was $700..at $5000 I would set it myself and put a cast on! LOL |
