My daughter got a puppy when living in an apartment where no pets were allowed. That puppy ended up spending a lot of time at my house because she couldn't leave him there alone for fear he'd bark...which he did now and then. Other's in the apartment building found out about Baxter and pretty soon lots of them had puppies. The resident manager found out about my daughter's puppy, but thankfully, she liked my daughter and told others she had the dog for medical reasons. The landlord never did find out about the puppy but we figured it was just a matter of time. She now bought her own home, but while in the apartment, there was always the stress of sneaking the dog in and out and whenever maintenance or someone else was expected in the building, we would have to get Baxter out. I hope you can find a place to rent that will accept pets...it is just so much more enjoyable to not have to worry about keeping them hidden and quiet! Best wishes! |
