This is great getting these new recipes, Here is an easy and delicious:
STRAWBERRY CREAM PIE
Baked 9" pie shell
1 Qt. Hulled Strawberries
1 Cup Sugar
1/8 t. Salt
3 T. Corn Starch
2 T. Lemon Juice
Whipped Cream
6 whole strawberries
Crush half of berries,,,,,stir in cornstarch,,,,sugar,,,,lemon juice,,,salt. Cook over medium heat until mixture is thick and clear. Cool. Cut remaining 2 cups of berries in half,,,, fold them into the cooked mixture. Pour into pie shell and chill. garnish with puffs of whipped cream and the 6 whole berries when ready to serve. This I have also made replacing strawberries with other fruits. Easy and quick recipe.
