She won't listen... This morning, Gracie got out the front door without a leash and I spent 30 minutes trying to coax her back into the house. We live on 3 acres - she ran from the front to the back yard and around and around the house. She never actually left the yard - MAJOR MIRACLE!! But she would not come to me when I called or listen to anything I said. She smelled freedom and was not going to give it up! I ws trying to lure her with her ball and even baked chicken! At one point I even laid down in the wet grass so she would think I was hurt - she did come up to me but it was only to steal the chicken out of my hand and beat feet. Half of me wanted to choke her. Finally, she must have gotten tired because I ran into the house and she followed that time. What a little witch! I wish you could have seen the look on her face - she was sooo happy to be free. I thought for sure this was the day I was going to have to come inside and tell my husband that Gracie was gone. Must be a yorkie angel looking out for her.
