 learn from my mistake
Oh honey it is better to just get the hair cut.......dematting many mats is very very stressful and painful for the little guys....I made that mistake once and will never never do that again......
I do use a dematting tool from petsmart that is wonderful between groomings.....it has saved my babies from painful experiences.
Short is cute too and it will grow......depending on the hair texture...clothes can be a real problem.....
Max is cotton coat...wears sweaters
Maggie is silky and mats too easily for cute clothes
It will be ok......many of us have been there.
