I use to own a sun conure. My dad has it now. My new husband wouldn't let me keep the bird. It was like pulling tooth and nail to get him to let me keep the dogs and fish. My sun is very noisy and loves water. It used to love me all the time but now when I visit at my dads it goes out of its way to bite me. They are alot of work especially for a first time bird owner. You will do fine I am sure. They are messy and loud but their love and devotion is worth it! Good luck with your new bird and post pictures soon!
