Has mom been eating puppy food all the time since before she was bred? Maybe she needs additional dry mixed with canned puppy. Also, I would start supplementing the babies late at night to make sure they are getting enough nourishment. If all else fails, start trying to wean the babies with small amts of gruel-ground up dry or canned food with puppy formula.
I don't think the cold water massage would help the situation, but I could be wrong. Did your vet tell you to do that? I have not heard about that and always want to learn new things..Good Luck |
