No doggy doors here in my area of MD. A little girl I sold stayed small and had a doggy door that opened into a sunroom that had a hydraulic closure on the outer door which was kept locked. The dorr was opened when they were cleaning and the door didn't close immediately. Little Sophia escaped and was only 10 feet from the door when a hawk flew down and took her. She wriggled free but I ALWAYS warn buyers not to have doggy doors. BTW, they lived in the middle of a housing development near the city..It can happen anywhere..
