I have a front carrier- by another maker. I found that I want my baby in front so I can talk to her- if she rides in back- I might as well go alone!( I am not sure how comfortable they feel in these as it is rather restrictive for them in the same position for long periods- I have a cloth sherpa that we use in the car- I can put one handle over the head rest-the other handle I hook with an S hook to the hand hold on the door- that way she is high enough to look out the window ) Then I was worried about if I fell- so I got a basket and a small rigid cloth carrier( petsmart-it folds like a tent) to put in the bastet-so if I ever had a accident - she could vertually fly through the air , land and not get hurt! What a concept! My Sasha is only 4.5 lbs so this may or may not work for you. Just some thoughts!
