This is an interesting thread...well, the names for my yorkies are not particularly antidotal, but I have always picked British names. For Wimbley (my first yorkie), I named her after a song we played in orchestra, "The Fifes of Wembley", Wembley being a famous football (soccer) stadium. I really liked that WAY BEFORE I even picked her out. So then I kept the theme with Kensington (after Kensington Palace & London borough) then Paddington (which is a London train station). I had their names picked out before I got them too. For the new puppies, I didn't pick Barclay (my mom did since he will be my parents), but it is a street in London. Fenley is a rugby stadium, and well, Scully's name was picked by her owner (which I think is adorable just like she is! ).
