Hi my name is Carolynne and I live in Florida.

I have a akc registered Yorkie named Wintson. He is weighs under three pounds. He has akc papers, and it has show dogs in his line. I have been reading about unproven stud. I was wondering if I can find a proven female who is willing to breed with him. One test we had to make sure he did not have (since some yorkies can get this and pass it down) is he is free and clear of having a shunt (sp?). I also would like to know the ropes. Do I need to get a license, anything else? Can someone kindly help me.
