I get CBS news that pops up on my phone. Yesterday the above link is about the village of Makanda Ill. where the eclipse is the best town to see the full eclipse. I thought you might enjoy reading the article.

My back yard is very isolate with thick wooded area. The community next to mine can barely be seen in winter when there's no leaves on the trees. If I were to fall in the yard no one would ever see me there. Neighbors on left and right of me never use their yard. I love it tho, there is much wild life in these woods. I'm a city gal that loves country living.
What we don't have is crickets lol, I love their chirping at night. I keep saying I'm going to buy crickets at Pet Smart or Pet Supplies and set them loose in my front yard, so far I haven't, all stores are a distance from malls where I could get them.
You must be counting down the days until the 8th. Are you able to take photos of the eclipse.
