I did leave it on and as I slept (if you can call it that) with her, I was able to monitor her throughout the night. Her incision was quite warm when she got up so I hope that is normal. I have been icing it throughout the day as the surgeon recommended.
She hasn't tried to move much on her own yet nor has she had a bowel movement since before the surgery. What did you experience with your dogs? I don't want her to get constipated on top of everything else!
