Default 10 month old and still struggling with toilet training

Hi all

Our dog (Dexter) is 10 months old and lately he seems to be going backwards with his toilet training.

To give you the setup, during the day time (we both work) he is in the kitchen and hasaccess to a catflap into the yard. For months he was really good and he was going into the yard and doing 90% of his business out there. However lately (last few months) he has started to do more and more inside.

He knows he has to go out but it seems that when its cold he will noy go out and instead do it inside the kitchen.

When we are home we do all the usual stuff and put him out after every meal, take him for loads of walks etc.

Should i be worried that he will never grasp toilet training? what ages do yorkies stop learning stuff like this?
