My lil fellow has environmental and food allergies. He too also scratches at his ears, sometimes it's a yeast or bacteria infection. This year it's just allergies. He gets a cytopoint shot and he's good for 4 to 6 months.
Your vet should know if your lil lass is old enough for the shot.
When Cody was very bad he needed a shot every 6 weeks for 18 months, he was good for a year, now it's usually twice a year for the shot.
