There is a big difference in calories between wet and dry food. There is more water in canned and dogs can eat 2 -3 times the amount of it to get the same calories as with dry.
I used Armani and Pippi as an example, but I have done this with others. There is no real advantage to feed kibble imho. It does nothing to prevent the need for dentals in spite of what some people believe.
