Anyone have any ideas of what this may be? Can I clean the area with something? I noticed red spot on Deuce's back leg this afternoon. He must have been licking at it because his hair was wet and matted. I cut away some hair to see it better. No pus but about the size of a nickel. I don't know what that black is. At first I thought it was a stinger but it isn't sticking out. I cleaned the area with water. Not sure what it is. I have a soft shame collar I will put on him if he continues to lick. We'll certainly go to the vet tomorrow. Thanks for your help.
