With Callie it depended on the tooth, she had stitches in some and not in others. They did give pain medication. We never had an issue with bleeding in fact my puppy when she had her 2 baby canines pulled when spayed bled more then Callie after extractions. Recovery can depend on the dog a lot. Most of mine have had the normal grogginess the day of and start getting back on their feet the next day. I soaked Callie's dry food and made it mush for her to eat for about a week and then she wanted hard food and was cleared by the vet to start eating it. If those teeth are bothering them they usually feel much better getting them out of there.
