Sadly, I had to cancel my pet insurance with healthy paws. I paid roughly 53.00 a month for at least weven years with no claims. I made one claim and they jacked the insurance up to 76.80 after one very small claim.

Now that I am debt free and have a healthy savings, I've decided to just pay out of pocket for any medical emergencies. Also my vet has a monthly payment plan that I have used before. My cat had to have emergency surgery for a tumor in her ear. The bill was just under 2k. The vet let me pay monthly payments with no INTEREST!!!!!!. Better than putting it on a credit card.
