Maybe he was healthy when your sister got him, but the stress of leaving his first home and all the traveling made him sick. Once he has some nutrical or corn syrup, make sure he eats some real food right away as these things raise the blood sugar but do not sustain it. They'll give him the energy to be able to eat. Sometimes if their blood sugar is real low they can't even eat. I'm sure once he gets some good food and rest he'll be the playful puppy you've been waiting for. Please let us know. |
