As far as the coat, when you ask whether her coat will become silky, do you mean that she has a cottony coat now? If her coat is cottony now, it most likely will remain cottony. The difference is in the density and texture of the hair, which probably won’t change. Thanks for the reply, yes when i first got her and then did some reading i thought maybe she isn't purebred. then i found out about the teapots and that they can grow over 7lbs, she still could be mixed but i don't think it matters .
as for the coat it does feel cottony, very soft to the touch and it seems greasy even a few days after a bath. the base of the black hairs are grey or silver it seems.
