I have gone without a topknot for Emma but I missed it plus people thought she was a boy without it. So I have had a male yorkie and I never had a topknot for him . So I guess I've gender normed my yorkies without realizing it.
With Emma she loves when I take the topknot out and do a massage yet she can't see when it's just loose. So when it's time to put it back in, she comes running. I think Deuce is so handsome and will be either way. If you're feeling he could use a break, go for it bc it can always grow back.
