Is this the yorkie mix that you rehomed to your neighbor a while back? Not that it’s necessarily important to the question except that your earlier posts gave additional history.

Either way, I would suggest that the first step here would be a dental check. Many yorkies around that age have retained baby teeth, which could be causing pain if adult teeth are coming in behind and around them. The pain could lead to an increase in chewing.
