My biggest problem, as the temperature has dropped, is that Jax still hasn’t given up his fascination with playing in his water dish. It was bad enough in warm weather, when I just had to worry about slippery water puddles on the floor if I left his water dish unsupervised. Now, I have to worry about either (1) Jax playing in the water and getting wet and chilled, or (2) Jax not drinking enough water because I have to keep the bowl on the counter and offer him drinks regularly all day. Neither is good, but he absolutely can’t resist playing in the water when it’s in front of him. |
