It is scary walking these lil mites, I commend you for over coming your fear.

Some members have suggested carrying a big black umbrella that automatically opens with a push of a button to ward off approaching dogs. This scares on coming dogs when held in front of you between you and the strange dog.

You may want to think about carrying one on your walks.
