Yes, I had her there. It was peaceful and she was not adversely affected. I always talk to my pups and I told her what was going on. (may sound wacky, but I always assume they might understand). She came home and went right to his bed and sniffed it which I found interesting....
And she seemed fine after.
I think if he had just "disappeared" she would have been very upset. She followed him around in his last few months and sat staring at him at times as if watching over him.
Hopefully you are far from having to make that decision.
