I tried peanut butter and he would lick it off the pill and wrapping it in cheese or chicken did nothing.
Finally, I bought a package of greenie capsule pill packets. I stick all three pills in there and he loves it.
I know the heartguard is a chewable already but would putting it in a pill pocket with a flavor he likes help the situation? |
We tried the peanut butter with Callie and she did that too and it ended up on my hands and all in her hair on her face and head it was such a mess lol. We actually tried every flavor with Callie who wouldn’t eat any of them and when you give one a pill you have to give the other a fake pill and he wouldn’t eat any of them. He is really really weird and picky with what he eats. He doesn’t like chicken which seems so weird to me. He hates fish generally but loves shrimp, he is so weird. He hates cheese too, what dog hates cheese?
