AMEN AMEN AMEN!!! You are soooo right! The only time Piper was even slightly deterred in getting Alice is when Alice "missed" the piano and fell on top of Piper. Both of 'em did a "whhhaaaa..." then Alice disappeared into her room! I don't believe in having a cat declawed, but Alice came to my mom this way and I gotta say, I'm really grateful for that Piper's and my world today!
