Currently in the same boat with “retraining” my 2 adult pups to FULLY use the bathroom outside, versus being dependent on pee pads. Let me tell you though the BEST urine eliminator spray that I’ve found is “Rocco and Roxie Stain and Odor Eliminator.” It has completely eliminated any urine smell from any little messes in my carpet. You can get it at PetSmart or Amazon. It is a little on the pricier side, around $20, but trust me it’s worth a try. Especially while you’re saving up to replace the flooring. Check out the reviews.
