This is Jax in his new harness — size small — that just arrived last week. I set it aside when it came and forgot that I’d ordered the small in gray. (The extra small is black.) Jax weighs between four and four and a half pounds (depending on recent intake and output), and the small is a little bit loose on him, although not so loose he could escape from it. There’s also some “give” in the adjustment, so I would guess this size would still fit him if he grew to six pounds — although, since he’s over ten months old now, I doubt that will happen. As I mentioned previously, he started wearing the extra small when he was a few ounces under two pounds, and it still fits him comfortably, it’s just more snug than it was six months ago. |
