Duchess was playing when I went to pick her. She was alert, jumping and didn't seem in pain. However, I tried my best to restrict her movements. I keep her in her expen the first several days. She hated it. Have you ever tried keeping an hyper active puppy confined? Anyway I honestly let Duchess out after only a few days and she was fine. I did make sure she didn't do any jumping on couches etc.......I restricted her movements. I just didn't keep her crated.


However I only did that based on her behavior. Energetic puppies aren't usually in pain. Had she been lethargic or groggy, she would have remained confined or a trip back to the vet.
