I have a baby gate for my kitchen entry way. I love it. Thumper and Bella are very mischievous so I cannot trust them to roam around the apartment when I am working. I did not feel comfortable keeping them in a crate all day so this is the best solution.
Over the years I have learned I also need to keep all things off the floor and away or else they get into it as well when I am not home.
They are perfect angels when I am with them but leave them home and they turn into little devils.
Since both like to jump high I got a gate that is 36 inches high. This way they cannot jump over it.
