I know. It really is maddening when you just can't quite remember. And I never even came close as all of the words I thought of and even googled synonyms for. At least I'd stopped thinking of it every day but it was there in the back of my mind niggling away.
Sparring! Won't soon forget that word now after all the fuss I went to, even considered reading through all of the words starting with "s" in the the dictionary.
