You need to go to the vet a have it properly diagnosed. It can be mistaken for a a few things other then CT. The vet can also tell you if your dog is in a flare which might just require steroids for a short amount of time. There really are no home remedy's that work or are safer then medical treatment. My moms dog had it pretty decently and was put on hydrocodone and it helped him have almost no episodes. It also helps to not use a collar when they are being walked on the leash and use a harness. Also making sure they are not overweight helps to.
