Hey guys! I have an unusual situation. My boy Scout, who is neutered, keeps tying with Pippa who is in heat. She is supposed to get spayed in a few weeks...we scheduled it to coincide with her 6 month dental, and of course she went into heat!! Scout tied with her yesterday, then again today...which lasted 20 minutes. I just tried to keep Pippa still and quiet so she didn't hurt him, and called my vet. He said it was very unusual for a neutered male, but not unheard of. He said there was no way she could get pregnant because he was neutered in December. Do any of you have any ideas of how to prevent him to keep tying? Probably a losing battle, short of keeping them apart till she goes out of heat? Geez...I thought this wouldn't happen with my boy...
