I personally am not a fan of teaching a dog to go to the bathroom in their crate. I think it’s playing with fire. I also don’t think puppy pads will work with a large breed dog or even any dog over 10 or 15 pounds because it won’t be able to hold all the pee. I do the old fashion method of we sleep in the crate and potty outside.
