It never shifted in any direction. I still feel blessed to have even found anything that would fit his tiny size. Both of his vets wanted him to gain an extra 1/2 pound but he never did. He was a 3-pound dog and there is where he stayed. Was nothing but skin & bones his entire life. Had food 24/7/365. I even had a plate of his dry food sitting on the bed at the foot so he could eat at his desire and still nothing.
Mine are bigger yorkies so it seems there are many many choices out there which can make it harder.
