Nothing is ever to late to do but, it will be a surgery. Your best bet is to speak with your vet if there is a possibility that nail is so close to her skin that it can cut into her.
My girl that had the curled dew claw that looked like a Rams horn was years back, vet technology was not as advanced as it is today if it was I would have had it removed.

Dew claws on puppies I believe are removed when their tails are docked, this is done when they are wee lil babies.
