The dog food she is suggesting is called TruDog. It’s supposed to be human grade but it’s supposed to mimic what dogs would eat in the wild. It gets great reviews but the price is insane. I also know that the dogs my family had when I was a kid ate Purina and table food and they all lived to be 15 plus years old. We had a lab, an otterhound, a poodle mix and a Pekingese mix. They were all very healthy and active until their last days. I think I’ll keep things as they are unless the vet suggests I change. |
