Yeah I mean there are certain brands or lines I am not fond of or wouldn't touch. But I've seen dogs thrive on all sorts of foods, especially as a dog sitter for so many years (I did it off and on for over 10 years). I've met 17 year old dogs who ate Beneful their whole lives, some 15 yr + dogs who always ate "high quality" foods according to pet boutiques, some who ate raw, some who ate non balanced foods (I knew one dog who ate primarily rotisserie chicken
because she wouldn't eat dog food). You honestly just never know. Not that I am advocating for some of those, LOL... but overall, I have seen dogs thrive on a lot of different things. I think a lot greatly depends on genetics. Just do the best you can.
