It could also just be a sebaceous cyst that sometimes just burst and need to be removed. If it didn’t grow more then likely it’s not cancer. Both my oldest and my moms rescue had dentals at the same time as several bumps removed so it’s perfectly fine. Hope everything turns out ok. Keep us updated.
