So I met with both potential sitters this past weekend. I decided to make a pro and con list to help make my decision. I know most won't agree with me but I decided to go with the sitter that I met at the dog park. She and I clicked a lot better and our dogs got along wonderfully. I asked why she doesn't allow people in her apartment and it is because a few years ago she did a potential meet and greet with a new client and the next day ended up being robbed. I understand her concern.

To alleviate my own concerns she gave me a list of references to call and showed me pictures of the set up. I called all the references and they had nothing but glowing reviews of her and her husband. She even called me the next day to see how Thumper was as I mention him going to the Vet for a check up.

The other sitter would have been fine but the place was much smaller and cluttered. Additionally, her dog she had was territorial and constantly barking at Bella and Thumper. I felt she was not going to be as attentive as I would have liked her to be.

I am happy with my decision and feel it is the right one for me.
