I would have food out just for her in her safe place where she stays while you work. 8 weeks is much, much too young to go ling periods without food. I would feed her seperately, or just simoly have everything available for her in her pen.

My pup, who is currently 6 months old, does NOT follow the food guidelines as indicated on his puppy food bag. According to the Stella and Chewy's bag, for his size (3.5 lbs) and age (6 months), he does not need more than 2 patties a day. JakJak will eat anywhere from 4-7 patties a day! Not including the kibble I throw in the bowl on top of the Stella's he eats. He is by no means overweight, but instead a healthy and growing boy. I let him dictate how much he wants to eat, to help avoid low blood sugar or vomiting bile due to not having enough food. That is common in very tiny, or very young pups. You have a very young pup, so she is at very high risk for both.
