Very young and/or very tiny dogs seem more likely to get bouts of canine hypoglycemia so you might want to check out that condition on a website so that you'll know if your younger dog might need more frequent feedings than a night-long fast at that tender age of 9 weeks. Dogs should always have access to fresh, clean water.
