Default thanks

Thanks so much for your response. I am so nervous about this and still so undecided. I spoke to the vet again last night and it seems this is just too vague. He said that they did a needle aspiration of some cells that went to the lab, not a biopsy, and that the results were consistent with a plasmacytosis but that they could not be definite until they removed the lump and sent it out. That being said, he said that the results seemed to be benign, but again was they could not be definite based on the needle aspiration of the cells.

The confusion comes from the fact that even if it I was definitely benign, he kept saying a small number of them could recur or spread, but if it's benign then I would think it would be harmless.

Anyway, still very confused. I hear so many horror stories about putting a dog out and I am afraid to take the risk if unnecessary. I can't find any info about just leaving it alone.
