What I was reading was saying that you have to be careful with them because if scratched they could bleed a lot and cause pain. I have had many bumps removed from my oldest, I normally do it at the same time as a dental but if a dental is not needed and won’t be for a long while I would just have it removed especially if that is what the vet recommends.
