I have 4 kids..17 15 13 and a 3 year old..I have always had dogs around my kids and I've never had a problem with my kids hurting our dogs. But I don't let the kids rough house the dogs (they play but rough housing is different) and I don't let the dogs bite..not ever..I have always had dogs..but I have to say I would be more worried having a dog around my baby then my baby around my dog meaning..dogs can bite and do. I won't have a bitin dog or kid lol...so I teach my dogs to play nice and the kids as well..
