Just wanted to welcome you and thank you for giving this sweet little guy a responsible, loving forever home. My Tibbe came home a crate-crazy, intact, un-housebroken, phobic, terrified, undersocialized 9 mo. old Yorkie with bad teeth 10 years ago. Former neighbors had told the breeder he was left with to find him a home that he'd spent his entire 9 mos. in a crate in a shed outside w/little-to-no socialization.
After much love, patience, regular bi-annual check-ups w/annual dental cleanings(very important for many Yorkies), upbeat, fun basic obedience training and behavior modification techniques, lots of chasing games(his favorite) and playtime and just chillin' on the couch w/me, my little Tibbe has turned into the perfect pet. He's both human- and dog-friendly and only occasionally has phobic reactions to odd sounds(mostly on TV). I couldn't find a sweeter, more well-behaved baby if I looked the world over! Your little one can turn into your best pet yet given half a chance! God bless for your rescue!!!!
