Welcome to YT, I also don't have any grooming tips / advise just wanted to say thank you for rescuing this little guy and working on his issues. 4 owners is a lot for this lil tyke. Trust takes time and lots of patience which appears you have plenty of since he has made much improvements.
We do have several members that groom their pups, hopefully they will chime in with suggestions, opinions, advise.
