Ohh, I'm glad it turned out good and you got him back in! LOL
I'm on acreage too. With lots of woods. I just can't let mine "out the door" and let them go. They would take off to the woods in a flash! Maybe it would be to your advantage if you fenced in a little portion of your property for them. Would give you more piece of mind anyway.
